Lionel Messi has been left out of Paris Saint-Germain’s squad to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday due to fresh injury complaints.
Messi has not been named in the 21-man squad for the Champions League group stage clash, and PSG have released a statement revealing the full extent of his injuries.

“Leo Messi presents with hamstring discomfort on the left and knee pain following a contusion,” the statement reads.
Messi has scored three goals in three Champions Legaue games for PSG this season, including a brace against Leipzig two weeks ago.
