Former Liverpool, Lyon and French national team manager Gerard Houllier passed away this morning aged 73.

The football world have come out to share tributes to the departed legend.

We are mourning the passing of our treble-winning manager, Gerard Houllier.

The thoughts of everyone at Liverpool Football Club are with Gerard’s family and many friends.
