Carlos Alcaraz recovered from a slow start to beat Djokovic in five sets and emerge 2023 Wimbledon Champion.
The 20-year-old Spanish world number one prevailed 1-6, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 to claim his first Wimbledon crown and second Grand Slam title.

Djokovic was bidding for a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam title but came up short in the fifth set.
Djokovic had not lost at Wimbledon since 2018 and was also looking to secure a record-equalling 8th Wimbledon title.
