Luis Enrique is set to be announced as the new PSG manager, replacing Christophe Galtier at the club.
The former Spain and Barcelona boss is expected to sign a two-year deal ahead of a crucial 12 months in the club’s recent history.
Enrique, who was sacked by the Spanish national team after their disappointing World Cup in December, will try and mend a fractured dressing room reeling from a series of morale damaging revelations.
In just the last month Kylian Mbappe has annouced his intention to refuse a contract renewal and leave on a free transfer, Lionel Messi had a dig in his parting messages after leaving the club and rumours of widespread unrest have left stars like Achraf Hakimi hankering for a move away.
Despite winning the side’s record 11th Ligue 1 title last season, current boss Galtier has endured a joyless year-long stint in charge. And as a result, according to Le Parisien, Enrique will be installed at the helm of the Parc des Princes club.
