Napoli President De Laurentiis has now come out to debunk the rumors by assuring Osimhen will not be leaving the city of Naples this summer.

” I will not sell Victor Osimhen this summer – no way”.

He added, ” I’ve already triggered and extended the option to extend Luciano Spalleti’s contract for next season”.

The Nigerian now holds the record of former Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o as the African player with the most goals in a Serie A season. He also holds a joint record with George Weah for the African player with the highest number of goals in the Italian top flight.
