Guardiola’s City Beat Arsenal To Maintain Title Hopes

A Kevin De Bruyne brilliant double and further two goals from John Stone and Erling Halaand gave Manchester City a deserved 4-1 victory over Mikel Arteta’s Arsena in a title-defining game at the Etihad Stadium.

Arsenal were looking to grab a big three points at the City’s home ground but were undone as early as the 7th minute following a brilliant De Bruyne strike from outside the box

Pep Guardiola’s side have won their last six league matches coming into the game and were unsurprisingly the favorites against their rival from north London as they bid to reduce Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table.

Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table now stands at just 2 points following the defeat at the Etihad and with City still having two more games on their rivals.

The victory now ensured Manchester City are now the favorite to win their third successive league title.
