Where is Osimhen?

Victor Osimhen has been one of the best players in the 2022/23 season, with his goals propelling Napoli to the top of Serie A.

The Nigerian striker has been in excellent form this season especially in the Italian top division, where his tally of 18 goals have only been outscored by Manchester City goal-crazy Erling Haaland’s 26 across Europe’s top five leagues.

As a result of his superb performances many fans and football lovers alike have sang his praise throughout the league season.

However, an uproar erupted on social media after a popular sports media outlet published a post essentially listing the hottest footballers on the planet at the moment, with Osimhen conspicuously omitted.

When fans on social media caught wind of the post, the hashtag “Where is Osimhen?” became a trending topic, with users dissatisfied with what they perceived as a poor choice to leave out the red-hot Nigerian striker.

One user simply asked:
