Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen had 99 career goals before the game, and he was looking to reach triple figures against Sassuolo.
The red-hot Osimhen scored his 19th league goal of the season to help runaway leaders Napoli defeated Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore.
In the 12th minute, Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored an outstanding solo goal to get things started.
Osimhen doubled the advantage in the 32nd minute when he rifled the ball home from an almost impossible angle.
A ball to the top, he manoeuvres past two defenders before scoring from an unbelievably acute angle to beat goalkeeper Andrea Consigli at his near post. It was an unstoppable drive that gave him the 100th goal of his career.
It's Victor Osimhen's world and we're just here to appreciate him!
