In his first start since November after suffering a fractured cheekbone and eye socket, Nigeria international Victor Osimhen bagged a big goal for Napoli as he rose highest to put them in front in the 59th minute against Venezia in the Serie A on Sunday.
Andrea Petagna doubled their lead in the 10th minute of stoppage time to wrap up a 2-0 win for Napoli.
The Blues are now up to second on the Serie A standings, one point behind leaders Inter Milan, who have played a game less.
Meanwhile, Venezia were reduced to 10 men before Napoli’s second as Nigeria international Tyronne Ebuehi was shown a straight red in the 95th minute.
