Onyedika on target as Midtjylland beat Randers
Stephen Odey and Raphael Onyedika were on target for their respective sides as Midtjylland defeated Randers 3-1 in the Danish top division on Sunday.
Onyedika, 20, was on song for Midtjylland as he bagged a brace before providing the assist for his side’s third goal at the Cepheus Park Randers.
The young midfielder put Midtjylland ahead in the 14th minute and doubled their advantage with his second in the 39th minute.
Odey, 23, would pull one back for Randers in the 53rd minute with a fine strike – his 11th goal in 13 appearances for the club across all competitions.
But Midtjylland re-established their two-goal lead 10 minutes later, with Onyedika assisting Evander for the goal.
The victory sees Bo Henriksen’s men extend their lead at the top of the Superliga with nine points. Randers, meanwhile, are fourth – 10 points off Midtjylland.
