Sergio Aguero has been diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia, that is, a heart rhythm rate disorder, reports say.
The Argentine, 33, was struggling with chest pain in Barcelona’s match against Alaves on Sunday and was replaced by Philippe Coutinho at half time and then taken to hospital for a cardiologic analysis.
More in-depth studies will be carried out to analyze the player’s health state.
Aguero signed for Barcelona in July and has featured four times in the league this season, with a goal to his name.
