Nigeria international Victor Osimhen struck late in the second half to help Napoli to a 1–0 victory over Torino and keep their 100% winning record in the Serie A this season intact.

Napoli, who have now won all eight of their league matches this season, are top of the Serie A standings – two points above second-placed AC Milan.

It looked as though the Parthenopeans were going to drop points for the first time this season, but Osimhen found the back of the net with a fine header in the 81st minute to secure the win at the Diego Maradona Stadium.

The 22-year-old Nigerian forward, who won the Serie A Player of the Month award for September, has now registered five goals in seven league appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s side this season.
