According to the Portuguese newspaper Jornal de noticias, Cristiano Ronaldo was robbed by an employee of a travel agency, who took care of the movements of some players, to whom the Portuguese in the past had entrusted his credit cards.
The total amount of the theft amounted to 288,000 euros, subtracted from the account of the Ronaldo between February 2007 and July 2010.
Ronaldo, however, has already been compensated and the employee dismissed by the travel agency.
But the star player isn’t the only one to have been scammed. According to the report, even super agent Jorge Mendes and Nani were robbed of amounts exceeding 300,000 euros.
