Naby Keita’s agent slams Liverpool boss
Naby Keita’s agent has criticised Jurgen Klopp for leaving his client on the bench in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
Keita had started Liverpool’s opening two games of the season as they comfortably beat Norwich and Burnley, but was left out of the starting XI for the clash against Chelsea.
Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcantara and Kostas Tsimikas all came off the bench as Liverpool tried to find the winner, but Keita wasn’t called upon.
The player’s agent, Malick Kebe, wasn’t pleased with that decision and expressed his disappointment on social media, saying: “It’s really hard for me to understand Klopp, you have to be him to put Naby Keita on the bench right now in his form. Your super coach is solely responsible for this draw against Chelsea.”
