Harry Kane quashes transfer speculations
Harry Kane has confirmed that he’ll be staying at Tottenham this season, laying to rest all rumours linking him with Manchester City.
Kane, who’s yet to win a single trophy with Spurs, confirmed his decision in a statement on Twitter, saying: “It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks.

“I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success. #COYS” Kane was Pep Guardiola’s first choice to replace Sergio Aguero, who left Etihad Stadium in June. Spurs turned down City’s opening bid of £100million back in June and later rejected their improved offer of £150million.
Kane is now likely to make his first Premier League start under new manager Nuno Santo this Sunday against newly-promoted Watford.
