The news has been everywhere that Kylian Mbappe does not want to continue as a PSG player and wants to have a sitdown with club president Nasser Al Khalifa to ask him for permission to speak with Real Madrid.
Spanish tabloid ‘Marca’ reported on their front page this Monday that Real Madrid are in the decisive phase when it comes to trying to sign Kylian Mbappe. They have an offer prepared in case Paris Saint-Germain decide to sell him this summer.
reports say that the 21-year-old FIFA world cup winner does not want to renew at his current club, PSG, although he has no problem in seeing out the final year of his contract. He would then become a free agent in summer 2022.
The addition of Messi to the PSG squad had given the French club hope, but presumably, Mbappe is not thinking of making any changes.
However, Mbappe will also have to do his bit if he wants to leave early. According to the cited media outlet, he has once again told the club that he does not want to extend his contract and that created more doubt in a PSG that always said that their star will leave Paris.
While we wait for events, the newspaper also said that Real Madrid have got themselves an offer which they put to PSG this summer. The French outfit have got themselves a star studded squad, but they could lose a key player this summer.
