One of Nigeria’s best sportswear brands Owu have made a donation of jerseys for referees who will officiate in the forthcoming Benin City Youth League.
The league competition is the first of its kind to hold in the city involving a select group of ‘super grassroots clubs’ based in Benin city.
The Secretary of the LMC of the Benin Youth League Ken Ugbodagha informs Omasports.com that Owu Sportswear company have been showing great interest in partnering with the youth clubs in Nigeria to ensure that the football space in continues to bubble.
“It is toward this end that Owu have found the Benin City Youth League a worthy initiative to be supported. They will kit the refs and have also plans afoot to provide other kinds of support for the Benin City Youth League in the course of the competition,” Ugbodagha says.
