Seniorman Kelz Wins Leicester City Goal of The Season Award

Nigerian forward Kelechi “Seniorman Kelz” Iheanchi has been voted as the winner of Leicester City goal of the season award by the Foxes supporters.

Iheanacho’s thunderous strike in a 2-1 home win over Crystal Palace in April has been chosen as the winner. The Nigerian forward cut inside on to his left foot and blasted the ball past Eagles goalkeeper Vicente Guaita to net a late winner for his side.

The resurgent forward has enjoyed a stellar second half of the season which has seen him pick up the Premier League player of the month for match. The goal was also voted Premier League goal of the month of April.

He also set a record as the first player to score in all days of the week in a single season and was rewarded with a new three years contract at Leicester.
