Nigerian and Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi has secured a work permit which will allow him to play in the English Premier League, OmaSports can confirm.

“There’s nothing God cannot do,” he told OmaSports. “I have waited five years for this. I’m happy to have the opportunity to play in England.”

He is currently on loan at German club Union Berlin where he has had an impressive season before his injury, he has scored seven goals and added four assists.

He has turned down several offers to make his loan moves away from Liverpool permanent because he believes God will answer his prayers.
