Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been elected unopposed as the club’s president for the sixth term until 2025.

Perez, who has been Madrid’s president since 2000, was the only one who showed interest in running for the presidency.

Under his presidency, Real Madrid have won 26 football titles, 5 UEFA Champions League , 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 5 LaLigas, 2 Copa del Rey and 5 Spanish Super Cups.

Madrid are second on the La Liga table and will hope to win a record extending 35 La Liga titles. They will also play Liverpool in the second leg quarter finals of the Champions League having won the first leg 3-1, also looking to win a record extending 14th Champions League title.
