Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is back in light training after his knee injury picked up in the last international break with Poland.
He “completed his first running session in the Munich snow on Monday morning,” but “will again not be available for the Champions League quarter-final second leg away at Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.”
Bayern evidently missed their target man in the first leg 3-2 loss to PSG where they scored just twice from 31 shots. Lewandowski scored over 20 of his last 31 shots for Bayern Munich before injury.
He is on course to break Gerd Muller’s record of most goals in a Bundesliga season with 40 goals, he has scored 35 goals before he was injured and could break it if he returns from injury on time.
