Nigerian forward Simy Nwankwo was on the scoresheet yet again for his Italian side Crotone but ended up on the losing side as Crotone fell to a 3-2 loss to Spezia.
He took his Serie A tally for the season to 16 goals but his team remains bottom of the Serie A table and are likely to be relegated.
Simy scored twice last week in another loss to Napoli, a match where compatriot Victor Osimhen also scored for Napoli in the 4-3 thriller.
Last season’s Serie B golden boot winner had been in good goalscoring form and is four goals away from matching last season’s tally of 20 goals.
