Chief Kashimawo Laloko, former technical director of the Nigerian Football Federation died yesterday at the age of 76, as confirmed by his son Adewale Laloko.

The veteran coach and football administrator passed on at Sacred Hearts Catholic Hospital, Abeokuta and will be buried today March 29, 2021 by 3pm at his Gbonagun residence.

He was one time coach of the Gambia national team and is best remembered for his invaluable contribution to the Pepsi Football Academy that produced Nigerian football stars like John Obi Mikel, Osaze Odemwingie amongst others.
