The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the group stages of the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon despite not kicking a ball after the game between Sierra Leone and Lesotho ends in stalemate.
The Eagles are top of group L with 8 points which means third placed Sierra Leone who have 4points can’t catch the Eagles.
The Super Eagles are in Cotonou where they will play Benin Republic in about an hour time, a draw would see Benin Republic also qualify, but a loss would mean they have to wait till their final game against Sierra Leone who could also qualify if they beat Benin Republic.
