KRC Genk forward Paul Onuachu has now been called up to replace Moses Simon in the SuperEagles squad for the upcoming AFCON 21 qualifiers following COVID restriction protocols with players coming from France, according to ESPN.

Onuachu who has been in fine form for Genk and has scored 25 league goals was overlooked for call-up earlier but due to coronavirus travel rule in France that would see travellers from Africa isolate on return has seen him called up in place of Nantes Moses Simon.

That also rules out a possible first squad place for FC Lorient Terem Moffi who was called up earlier.

The Super Eagles will play Lesotho and Benin in their last two group games for qualification for the upcoming AFCON.
