Erik Lamela scored a rabona to put Tottenham ahead in the London derby after coming on for the injured Heung-Min Son. He was later sent off for two bookable offences and Tottenham lost 2-1.
The goal generated excitement on social media but that wasn’t the first time the Argentine will score such, he scored an even better one in the Europa League in 2014 against Asteras Tripolis.
Harry Kane scored a hattrick in that match as Tottenham ran out 5-1 winners and also ended in goal after Hugo Lloris was injured.
Premier League legend Gary Lineker tweeted: “The thing about the Lamela goal is, it’s not even the best Rabona he’s scored.” in reference to his 2014 goal.
