Rivers United signed both players from Enyimba at the beginning of the season. Goalkeeper Afelokhai, 32, has played three games for Rivers United and kept two clean sheets while defender Anaemena has played four games, scoring one goal.
Rivers United are currently eight on the NPFL table with 18 points from 11 games. They missed out on a chance for continental football after losing to fellow NPFL side Enyimba.
