Etienne Eto’o, son of legendary African footballer Samuel Eto’o scored twice and assisted another in his first match at the ongoing U20 AFCON as Cameroon beat Mozambique 4-1.

Etienne opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a beautiful freekick, he added the second just before halftime from the penalty spot, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

His freekick was similar to his father’s in 2006 AFCON against Angola.

He assisted the third goal after the break with a through pass to teammate Milla to make it three. A brilliant save from the Mozambique goalkeeper denied him a hat-trick.

He was voted the man of the match and Cameroon won group A with nine points.
