The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped a place in the new FIFA ranking to 36th place in the world. The Eagles also dropped a place in Africa and are now 5th.

The Gernot Rohr led Eagles drew their last two games, a AFCON 2021 double header against Sierra Leone. A 4-4 draw in Benin where the Eagles surrendered a four goal lead and a 0-0 draw in Freetown.

The Super Falcons moved up a place to 37th in the women’s ranking and remain first in Africa. The reigning African champions. The Randy Waldrum side are on their first outing in a year at the Antalya Gold Cup in Turkey where they won their opening game 1-0 against CSKA Moskva Women’s team.
