Former Italy defender Luigi Sartor has been arrested for running marijuana farm at a greenhouse where he had been cultivating 106 marijuana plants, according to Italian media Repubblica.
He was arrested in a village in the province of Parma by the Guardia di Finanza, Italy’s militarised police force along with an accomplice at the scene.
The three time UEFA Cup winner played for ten clubs during his career including Juventus and Inter Milan and represented the Italian national team twice.
