Former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has joined Ukrainian club Olympic Donetsk to continue his coaching journey.

Toure began learning for his coaching badges in 2020 with Queens Park Rangers under Chris Ramsey after leaving Chinese club Qingdao Huanghai, he confirmed on Coaches Voice.

He has now returned to Ukraine where he played for Metalurh Donetsk at the beginning of his career to continue earning his badges.

“It’s great to be back in the Ukraine to continue my coaching journey. Thank you to Olympic Donetsk for the wonderful welcome,” he said on Twitter.
