Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has exonerated himself and his players of blame after Manchester United suffered defeat to PSG in a match that the red devils looked like they were going to win especially in the second half.

Neymar inspired PSG into a sixth-minute lead after a Kylian Mbappe shot was deflected and fell kindly to the Brazilian forward who drilled the ball into the bottom corner.

United levelled in the 32nd minute through a Marcus Rashford shot which deflected off of Danilo to beat PSG keeper Keylor Navas.

United took control and created several good chances after the break but failed to go score goals and take the lead.

After good work from Edinson Cavani and Rashford down the right, Anthony Martial fired over the bar from a promising position.
Cavani was sent through and launched an audacious chip over the advancing Navas but the ball hit the crossbar and Anthony Martial’s follow up shot was cleverly blocked by Marquinhos.

What followed was a complete collapse by Manchester United. A half-cleared corner rattled around the box before it was poked in by Marquinhos.

To add insult to injury for Manchester United, Brazilian midfielder, Fred was sent off after receiving his second yellow card for a foul on ex-United midfielder Ander Herrera and United could not keep up with the pace any longer despite few changes by the manager. The visitors ran away with a 3-1 win on the night.

Ole Gunna Solskjaer beleieves there is no one to blame for the defeat and insist united played really well and in football, these things happen.

“I thought we played really well and I don’t put any blame. You don’t sit here and blame people, I know we could have done something better of course. It was decided by some slight margins, you know their goal from the corner kick where it almost looks like it’s offside initially, not even an inch. So there’s no blame culture in this team I have to say. We all look at ourselves and know we could have done some things better but I think we played a very good game, it was a very good game of football.”

Want do you think went wrong? Poor game management by you (Fred in Mind ) or a generally poor display by the players? I ased Macnhester united manager Ole Guna Solskjaer after the defeat to PSG. pic.twitter.com/u2RoHp73f4
