Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye put up an impressive performance against PSV yesterday despite being on the losing side.
Sparta Rotterdam lost 1-0 away to PSV Eindhoven in a very poor team performance but Okoye singled himself out for honour by saving a 78th minute Donyell Malen penalty but couldn’t keep out the rebound.
He made five more saves to keep the scoreline respectable on a day where his team failed to produce a single shot on target.
The match was his fourth Eredivisie start and has kept two clean sheets. He continues to show why he deserves the number one spot for both club and country.
