Tuchel convinced the PSG executives in various discussions of his plans and stood out against well-known competitors. As we gathered from SPORTBUZZER, Massimo Allegri (Juventus), Antonio Conte (Chelsea) and Luis Enrique (FC Barcelona) were also on the list of potential candidate to take over the Paris outfit list.
Tuchel began his career as a topflight coach at Mainz 05 before moving to Borrusia Dortmund, where he won the 2016/2017 German cup title.
The Parisians are currently still managed by the Spaniard Unai Emery. The PSG officials and Thoams Tuchel’s will likely officially confirm the deal at the earliest after winning the French championship.
