Paris Saint-Germain has announced that Azzedine Toufiqui has signed his first professional contract with the club. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is now linked to the capital club through to 30 June 2020.
Reputed for his vision on the ball and his technical qualities, the native of Caen joined the Club’s youth academy in 2015. Since his arrival in Paris, he has been operating under a pre-youth contract.
In 2016, alongside players like Yacine Adli, Timothy Weah, Moussa Diaby and Antoine Bernede, Azzedine Toufiqui won the French U17 title with a victory over AS Saint-Etienne in the final.
