The Premier League will have a mid-season break of more than six weeks in the 2022/23 season to accommodate the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which will hold in November and December.

There will be a mid-season break between November 14 and December 26 in order to accommodate the tournament in Qatar, which will conclude with the World Cup final on December 18.

The season will also begin a week earlier than normal on 6 August and finish a week later on 28 May.

The Champions League and FA Cup finals will therefore be pushed into June.
