Nigeria and Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi handed over four units of a room and parlour self-contained to his hometown, Olla Community in Isin local government area of Kwara, Nigeria on Wednesday.

The Forest striker also equipped the Olla Medical Centre with medical equipment which include, hospital bed,  hospital mattress, oxygen concentrator and a lot of other equipment.

Speaking exclusively with Omasports, the 25-year-old said he’s only giving back because all he’s achieved so far. “There are things you’ve spoken into existence, and when they all come to pass, the ball is in your court to fulfil your own promise.

“This is me doing my little things in little ways.”

Awoniyi scored 10 goals for Nottingham in 27 league games last season, helping the English side retain their place in the Premier League.
