The Nigerian team almost makes use of their early dominance by hitting the crossbar before Burkina Faso took the lead on the stroke of halftime.

Aboubacar Camara took advantage of a mistake by Eaglet’s defender to score the opener for Burkina Faso, before he got his second from a penalty kick in the 56th minute.

Abubakar Abdullahi reduced the deficit for Nigeria in the 67th minute.

Morocco, Senegal, Mali, and Burkina Faso after making it to the last four, will represent Africa at the World Cup.
