Victor Osimhen has been congratulated by former Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba on his title-winning achievement this season with Italian Club Napoli, and that has also seen him break George Weah’s record.
The Nigerian striker had earlier in his career said he idolizes the former Chelsea striker, claiming they both have similarities in their playing style.
Osimhen has been tremendous this season, contributing 23 goals to the Naples-based club’s first title in over three decades.
And he has also surpassed former AC Milan and Liberia striker George Weah as the top African scorer in the league’s history.
Drogba is widely regarded as one of the greatest African players in history, and Victor Osimhen will now aim to emulate his idol in achieving greatness.
