We’ll come back stronger for the return leg – Mbappe issues Bayern warning.

Paris Saint-Germain was defeated 1-0 at home by Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 match, prompting Kylian Mbappe to issue a call to action.

The German champions won by a slim margin on Tuesday night at Parc des Princes after former PSG academy product Kingsley Coman scored the game’s only goal.

Mbappe, who had only recently recovered from a thigh injury, came off the bench in the 2nd half and gave the hosts some life after a very poor first half in which the French side had exactly no shots on goal.

Mbappe, who Spoke to Omasports post-match, said that the team health issues leading up to the tie put PSG in a poor shape, but he and his teammates know exactly what to do ahead of the second second leg at the Allianz.

“We were in trouble and we know the reason why, but we know we’ve to react and that’s good already. We have taken that into account.

“Now we’re going to work well, get everyone back healthy.

“I think it’s important we will go there to try to qualify.”

Mbappe who hasn’t played since Feb 1 said he felt some anxiety just before he came on the pitch.
”I was a little apprehensive,” he continued.

“But I tried to give it all I had and I’m left with nothing. So here it is now we must continue to recover well.”

Like I said, get everyone back healthy and it’s for us to come back all one hundred percent and I’m sure we can.”

“It can go well.” he assured.
