Nigeria’s Stephen Odey has won the player of October award in Denmark. Odey (23) joined Randers on loan in the summer from Genk and has scored an impressive 11 goals in 13 appearances for the club across all competitions so far this season.

Speaking exclusively to omasports, the striker said: “I am very excited to win the player of the month award in Denmark. I want to thank my teammates who have helped me to since arriving in Denmark”.
“It’s easier for me to play football when people around you are ready to cover you even if you make mistakes. They’re ready to cover your mistakes up” Odey concluded.
