Xavi wants Salah ‘at all costs’

Barcelona are “working silently” on a deal to lure Liverpool and Egypt forward Mohamed Salah to Camp Nou, with new boss Xavi wanting the 29-year-old “at all costs”, El Nacional reports.

Salah’s current contract with Liverpool expires in 2023, but the Reds are trying to finalise a new long-term deal with the Egyptian.

However, it is understood that Salah has so far been unable to come to terms with the club amid reports he wants wages that would make him one of the Premier League’s top earners.
