Nigerian forwards Victor Osimhen and Simy Nwankwo got on the scoresheet for their clubs in a seven goals thriller between Napoli and Crotone which Napoli edged 4-3 winners.
Napoli forward Osimhen scored his fourth Serie A goal of the season in his first season in Italy that has been disturbed by different injuries including concussion as well as testing positive to coronavirus.
Simy, who won the Serie B golden boot last season with 20 goals, got on the scoresheet twice to take his Serie A goals this season to 15, but they were not enough to help Crotone avoid defeat.
The win moved Genaro Gattuso’s men into fourth, a point ahead of Juventus who play later while Crotone remain bottom of the Serie A table.
