Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has tested positive to coronavirus in the latest round of testing as confirmed by the club this morning.

Ramos, who is out injured since returning from the international break with Spain, adds Covid-19 to his list of unlucky incidents this season, with the Spain captain having struggled with injuries this season.

Ramos missed Madrid’s 2-1 El Clásico win over Barcelona on Saturday and with his contract expiring at the end of the season with no agreement Forman extension reached, he may have played his last.
