Manchester United’s coaching staff have been hit by positive cases of coronavirus and will self isolate, prompting the club to promote two staff to the dugout for tonight’s match against Newcastle United.
“Nicky Butt and Mark Dempsey will join Ole Gunnar Solskjær on the bench this evening due to some of the coaching staff having to self isolate.” the club statement reads.
Manchester United will hope to reduce the gap on rivals Manchester City who play Arsenal earlier.
