Premier League club Aston Villa has reopened their Bodymoor Heath training two weeks after closing it due to coronavirus outbreak at the club.

Aston Villa closed their training facilities on January 7 after the club recorded 14 cases of coronavirus, 10 of which were players and have had three games postponed, disrupting other clubs fixture calendars.

The outbreak came a day to their FA Cup third round tie against Liverpool. They fielded U23 players who impressed against Jürgen Klopp’s Reds despite losing 4-1.

Among those spotted training today were star man Jack Grealish, John McGinn, Ollie Watkins Tyronne Mings and goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
