Chelsea legend Petr Cech has returned to active football in Chelsea’s development squad 3-2 win over Tottenham.
It was Cech’s first competitive match since he was in goal for Arsenal in the 2019 Europa League final 4-1 loss to Chelsea.
Big Pete was registered in Chelsea’s Premier League squad as an emergency backup goalkeeper because of the coronavirus situation.
He has been training for weeks and finally made his return today. He conceded two first half goals and young Blues came from behind to win 3-2.
He returned to Chelsea as technical director and performance advisor after retiring with Arsenal in 2019.
