There were plenty of goals on Tuesday night in the Champions League. 26 goals were scored across 8 matches as 4 teams are through to the next round.

Chelsea, Sevilla, Barcelona and Juventus are through to the round of 16 but face battles with each other to top their respective groups.

Barcelona were without captain Lionel Messi and Dutch midfielder Frenkie De Jong who were rested for the game, but the Catalan giant still put 4 past Dynamo Kyiv. American Sergino Dest got his first Champions League and first Barcelona goal. Martin Braithwaite was the star of the night with two goals and an assist.

Juventus survived an early scare after goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and a late one by Alvaro Morata, his fifth in four games cancelled out an earlier Ferencvaros lead. Ronaldo’s goal is his 64th in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.

Bruno Fernandes scored two and passed on the chance to score a hattrick after giving a penalty to teammate Marcus Rashford. United hammered IBFK 4-1 at Old Trafford to put behind a 2-1 loss in Turkey.

Golden boy Erling Haaland continued his fine scoring form as he made it 16 Champions League goals in just 12 games. Jadon Sancho scored a direct freekick. Ciro Immobile’s brace helped Lazio best Zenit St. Petersburg while Neymar’s penalty was enough for PSG to beat RB Leipzig.
