Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has praised Nigeria and Lille striker, Victor Osimhen after his team’s 2-1 defeat of the French team.
Lampard said he has been observing Osimhen’s progress and considers him a hugely impressive player. Reacting to questions from journalists, during the post match press conference in Lille, Lampard said: ”In preparation for this game, I’ve been watching his performances for Lille this season and I know his story before.
”He is hugely impressive. Very tough match for us, not just for the game but for their attacking threats and the performance of their individual players are very good. ”They gave our players lots of problems. It’s really tough to play against them, I really wish him well, his game is very great and he has a fantastic career ahead of him.”
