The final two games of the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League quarter finals were staged at the Signal Iduna Park between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City and at Anfield between Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Manchester City beat Dortmund 2-1 to progress on an aggregate score of 4-1. Jude Bellingham opened the scoring for Dortmund becoming their youngest Champions League goal scorer at 17years and 298days.

Riyad Mahrez then drew City level from the penalty spot after a foul by Emre Can before Phil Foden wrapped it up in the second half to send City to the semi final where they will play PSG.

Real Madrid went to Anfield with a 3-1 advantage and were able to protect it with a 0-0 draw at Anfield which sent them through to the semi final to play Chelsea.

Liverpool had the chances but could not convert. Mohamed Salah and Gini Wijnaldum got the best chances of the game but Madrid will be grateful to goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for saves to deny goal scoring chances.

The semi finals will be Manchester City vs Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid vs Chelsea.
